When does the word "post" NOT refer to something on social media? When you're in the entertainment business! We've all heard the expression "we'll fix it in post." But how much and what CAN really be done to a piece of media AFTER shooting's complete?

Join APA at First Studio on SATURDAY, JUNE 17, at 9:00 a.m. for some "Post Pointers" with APA Members Nicholle Kizer and Bill Garmen!

An award-winning online editor, colorist and motion designer, Nicholle (Niki) is the founder of Kizetta Enterprises, LLC. She will provide information on her background and experience, why coloring is important and challenges in the Phoenix market. Niki has been working professionally in the Phoenix area for over a decade. She contributes her talent and skills on projects ranging from local and national television commercials, corporate videos, and full-length feature films. Niki employs a wide skill set from concepts through completion. Bill Garmen is a post-production supervisor with 10+ years experience managing projects for small and large teams. Apple certified, he can support all storage systems and editing applications. Xsan, Promise, Quantum, Adobe, Avid, FCP. There is no project too small. From being on set, to in the bay, artistic to technical, Bill can manage it all. Admission is FREE for APA Members; $20 for Non-Members IN ADVANCE; $25 at the door. Water and snacks will be provided. ALL attendees must register, even APA Members!
